NEWFRONTIERS & COMMISSION

Newfrontiers is a family of churches committed

to telling the world about the good news of God

through the local church. Over the last 30 years

Newfrontiers has grown to a worldwide family

of over 850 churches under the leadership of

Terry Virgo.

As Newfrontiers has grown, Terry has recognised

a number of leaders have emerged each with a gift to lead, serve and oversee the churches within Newfrontiers. Terry has released the oversight of the churches within Newfrontiers to these leaders who are choosing to work together as interdependent groups called “apostolic spheres.”

The leaders of these spheres will continue to work together under the same vision and values as Newfrontiers - being committed to loving Jesus and making Him known through the local church. Churches across the Newfrontiers family have chosen to be part of one or other of these spheres. Each of these will has a different name.

Commission is the group of churches within Newfrontiers led by Guy

Miller and his team. Commission includes churches in the UK, Spain,

Portugal and other nations. These churches actively work together in

seeing the kingdom advance through church planting, raising leaders,

ministry with the poor and going to the nations.

Commission runs events throughout the year to train leaders and build relationships amongst churches. A key event is Westpoint where thousands gather together to learn, love and go. Commission is growing both as more churches relate with Guy and his team, and as churches are planted. We are planning more events, church plants, training and mission opportunities.

KHANYISA

Khanyisa Community Church in Cape Town,

South Africa, is a unique mix of people from

the townships, southern and northern suburbs and other parts of the city, who meet together on a weekly basis and are involved in many aspects of life development – spiritual,

emotional, social and physical.

Our friendship with Khanyisa began in the summer of 2009, when we hosted a number of people from Cape Town.  We have also enjoyed sending many from the church over to Cape Town to continue building friendships with those in Khanyisa.

LOVE TORBAY

The King’s Arms Church is committed to making a difference in our community. As a local church we work in partnership with churches and groups in Torbay and across the country as we seek to be a blessing to others. We are thrilled to be able to partner with various charities, which we currently support through prayer, volunteer encouragement and financial contribution. Some of the projects we support under the banner of 'Love Torbay' are listed below.

Community Larder

The Torquay Community Larder is run by The Salvation Army providing emergency food provision to some of the most vulnerable individuals and families experiencing food poverty.

LiNX

LiNX Christian Youth Trust is an exciting initiative in Torbay representing a commitment from a variety of local churches to serve young people, particularly within the context of local secondary schools. Click here to find out more.

Fernlea

Fernlea Trust is a Crisis Pregnancy Centre, helping in cases of Post-Abortion Counselling, Miscarriage, Still-birth and Neo-Natal Death. To find out more, click here.

Persecuted Christians

We are delighted to be a partner church with Open Doors, supporting persecuted
